10 HR EXTERN 8440 3617 78 Carrying high-pressure hydraulic oil is the primary job of this hose. It acts as a flexible artery, delivering power from the rig’s hydraulic system to components like boom cylinders, the feed system, or the drifter’s rotation motor. Its proper function is essential for every movement the drill rig makes.

A failure in a hydraulic line can bring the entire operation to a halt and create serious safety hazards. For instance, a burst hose on a boom lift cylinder could lead to an uncontrolled drop of the feed.
