Think of it as the barrier that holds the pressure in, making sure the rod extends and retracts with the force it’s designed for. Without it doing its job, you just can't get the consistent push or pull you need from that silindir, whether it's for feed, boom, or even a simple clamp.

When this KEÇE starts to go, usually what happens is you’ll notice a film of hydraulic oil building up on the rod itself, or even dripping down the SİLİNDİR body. If it gets bad enough, you might even hear the POMPA working harder than usual, or the SİLİNDİR might start to drift or move sluggishly under load. That loss of pressure means the rig isn't getting the full power it needs, and you're just wasting fluid and energy.

When you're swapping one of these out, always give the rod a good once-over for any nicks or scratches – even a tiny imperfection can tear up a new KEÇE in no time. And don't forget to check the wiper KEÇE too; it’s the first line of defense against external crud getting in and chewing up this rod KEÇE prematurely. A little bit of care during installation goes a long way to prevent repeat failures.
